Ryla taught me a lot about myself and all of the amazing things that Rotary do world-wide. I’m a very busy person with work and teaching dancing, but I now always try and get involved in any charity work when I can. Since Ryla I’ve been a part of a group at work who raise money for charity. Recently we’ve done the Cure Kids Walk On The Wild Side and the Oxfam Challenge. Ryla really opened our eyes to the need to help others in the community. Rotary do an amazing job. I know Rotary have a challenge to keep us ‘young people’ involved after Ryla. I guess a lot of us are busy setting up our careers and lives.. but we can be contacted through the RYLA alumni facebook pages and when a club does need help “any club!”, whether it be man power or organising etc, people like us can and are very happy to help.
So in conclusion, Ryla is awesome. There’s no other word for it. I feel very lucky that I got to be a part of it last year. Rotary are a very special organisation, so thanks all of you who made it possible!
